On Monday, January 21st, 2019 the Kimberley School Council is hosting the 2nd annual “Healthy Families Night” and all are welcome.

WORKSHOPS
Join us for the following FREE parenting workshops:
6 – 6:40pm
A discussion on how to set and hold boundaries with your kids (focus is grades JK-2) with Joanne Gallagher from East End CHC
Resilient and Healthy Kids: Ideas to help manage your child’s anxiety with Dr. Jen Parsons, ND
6:50 – 7:30pm

MARTIAL ARTS, DANCE & YOGA
While the parents are exercising their minds, the kids will be exercising their bodies – starting with Martial Arts presented by DeSantos; afterwards kids can either choose to stay in the gym for a dance party, or they may participate in a yoga class down the hall in room 105. Children will be escorted by volunteers from the gym to their yoga sessions.
> Martial Arts with DeSantos – 6-640pm
> Dance Party – 6:50-7:30pm
> Yoga – 6:50-7:10pm and 7:10-7:30pm (Registration is required – just send us an email of interest here)
**All are welcome, but please note that in order for your school aged child to attend the activities, a parent/guardian must be present at the workshop.**
DINNER
Dinner will be at 5:30-5:55pm in the foyer and prepared by The Lunch Mom. The menu is TriColour rotini, meatballs/tomato sauce, cheesy garlic bread & salad (vegetarian option: Falafel balls). Children Eat Free with 1 paying Adult ($5).

Free refreshments will be available throughout the event, including delicious coffee from Might & Main, as well as veggies & fruit prepared by the Snack Team. No drinks will be available, please bring your own water bottles!
